Adventures

Last Friday was absolutely nuts. In the morning we went to Les Miserables in Folsom, then for lunch we all ate at Mels. Mac told me it's in American Graffiti, but I wouldn't know because the one time we almost watched it, dad turned it off because it was too vulgar. Hahaha... thanks BaboLater that day Lorna, Emily, and I hit the road to see Wicked in San Francisco. Emily was quite entertained with her PopTart
We stopped at this teenie ghetto berry stand in Vacaville and bought Boysenberries so Lorna could make cobbler. It was sooooo good :D
San Francisco is absolutely crazy. There are more weird people than normal people. The streets are full of people that are just so strange! I saw all kinds of things within the four blocks before we parked. Like a smoking manhole. I thought they put those in city movies for atmospheric purposes, but this thing was legit! I also saw an underwearless man loose his drawers while crossing the street. We all closed our eyes really tight :)

WICKED

Isn't the Bay Bridge neat? Yes it is.
We went to Burger King before the show, and across the street was a Library. I thought it was cool.
Orpheum theater! Also very cool. And old?
Inside the theater
You can't even tell how cool this set is. It's incredible. They have this big dragon hanging at the top, and the backdrop is this big map thing, and all along the sides are all these clock gears and ropes and stuff, it's intense. I can't even tell you how amazing the show was... it blew me away. I've seen a lot of shows in my life, but this one was in a whole other category. The good witch is portrayed as this crazy blonde chick that is super dumb and ditzy, and she was hilarious. If you ever get the chance to see it, definitely do!

viva

This week has been quite eventful so far. I found a market in a parking lot somewhere, so I decided to check it out. But... when I got there, everyone was packing up :(
As I pulled out of the parking lot, I fell behind this cute little porche. Hey Babo, did you have one of these? I wish I got a pic of the front... SO cute :)
Yesterday I took Emily and her friend Emily to play in the fountains with Diana and Luke. The little kids were hilarious, playing around in the water and getting squirted in the face at random times. (I was also the victim of a surprising shot to the face.)

And me. With my best friend.

sushi and missing skin

Yesterday I got to hang out with Aunt Melanie, Sam, and their adopted son Thomas. (Hahaha not really... he just seems like another brother). We went to this sushi place for lunch, and they have these little boats that float around with food on them and you just take what you want off of the boat. Clever!
Aw so precious! (Sorry Thomas, Sam's head got in the way hehe:)
The dumpster is all the stuff the cleanup peeps have pulled out of Mel's old burned apartment, and below it Sam and Thomas are bringing in the new furniture. woot!
Boxes are fun
This pretty much sums up life I think

After all that I went to FHE and pretended to be a missionary. There were some people from the ward behind doors at the Stake Center and we went around and tried to get appointments and stuff. The real missionaries were there, and they were pretending to be a gay couple. SO FUNNY! Sam played a drunk.... he did an excelent job too:) After FHE we all went swimming in Jamie's pool in the dark. We played Marco Polo for like 2 hours. I lost a few pounds of skin off the bottoms of my feet, so this morning I got to use my incredible doctoring skills to try to salvage any remaining skin still attatched to the underside quarters of my toes. Cute!
